Passback vs FunnelFox

FunnelFox: AI-generated funnels, payment orchestration across 60+ providers, analytics and A/B testing, priced on commission. Passback: a web paywall and the return into your app, on your own Stripe account, for $250 a month. The comparison below notes where each is the stronger choice.

Why a flat rate

At $250 a month, a developer doing $10,000 a month through web checkout pays 2.5% of it. One doing $50,000 pays 0.5%. A percentage stays a percentage as the revenue grows, which is the point at which the saving from selling on the web starts to matter.

There is no sales call and no minimum. Connect a Stripe account, publish a funnel, and the first payment can land the same afternoon.

Customers and subscriptions are on your own Stripe account, as direct charges with no application fee. Leaving costs nothing: the subscriptions keep billing and the records stay where they were.

FunnelFox charges a commission on revenue, so its cost rises with yours. Passback now ships five acquisition funnels to start from (see templates), an email step before the paywall, and an abandoned-checkout reminder, so the gap between “they generate funnels, we do not” is narrower than it was. What they still do that we do not: generate a funnel from a prompt, orchestrate payments across many providers, and run cancellation flows.

Where FunnelFox is the better choice

If you run paid traffic across several markets and want generated funnels, payment orchestration across providers you do not currently have, and failed-payment recovery across those providers, FunnelFox is built for that and Passback is not. The trade-off is commission-based pricing and customer records that live in their billing system rather than your Stripe account.

Where Passback is the better choice

You want customers on your own Stripe account, so that changing tools later means rebuilding a few screens rather than migrating subscriptions. You want a fixed monthly cost. You want a return flow your app can adopt in an afternoon with nothing declared in Xcode. And you prefer to write your own paywall copy.
