Terms of service

The agreement between Projekt Studio and developers who hold a Passback account.

1. What Passback is

A service for building and hosting web funnels and paywalls for your app, taking payment through your own Stripe account, and informing your app of who has paid. We provide the software; you provide the app, the funnel content, and the Stripe account.

2. Your account

You must have the legal capacity to enter contracts in your jurisdiction, and you are responsible for activity under your credentials. One account per developer or company; one Stripe Connect account per Passback account. Notify us if you believe your credentials have been compromised.

3. Fees

A flat monthly subscription, billed in advance through Stripe, at the price shown on the pricing page when you subscribe: currently $250 a month for founding accounts and $500 a month at standard pricing. A founding rate is retained for as long as the subscription remains active without lapse. We take no share of your customers' payments and charge no application fee; those payments are governed by your agreement with Stripe and with your customers.

You may cancel at any time from the dashboard; access continues to the end of the paid period. We may change standard pricing with thirty days' notice by email; such changes do not apply to founding accounts.

4. Your customers and your Stripe account

Charges are direct charges on your Stripe account. You are the merchant of record: you set prices, handle refunds and chargebacks, comply with Stripe's terms, and are responsible to your customers and to tax authorities in the jurisdictions where you sell. Passback creates Checkout sessions and reads subscription state on your behalf and makes no other use of the connection.

5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your funnel content: it must be accurate, lawful, and yours to use.
You are responsible for your app's compliance with Apple's and Google's policies, including how it refers to web purchases.
You will inform your customers about the data you collect; our privacy policy and data processing terms describe our role.
You will not use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or prohibited by Stripe; attempt to access other accounts' data; or load-test the service without prior agreement.

6. Our responsibilities

We will operate the service with reasonable care and skill, handle your data as described in the privacy policy, and notify you of any security incident affecting your account without undue delay. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime commitment; current availability is shown on the status page. We make no guarantee of conversion rates or revenue.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time; your customers' subscriptions continue to bill in your Stripe account. We may suspend an account that breaches section 5 and will state the reason. If we discontinue the service we will give at least ninety days' notice and provide an export of your funnels and subscriber records on request.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is; we are not liable for lost revenue, lost customers or indirect or consequential loss; and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. General

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which Projekt Studio is established, and disputes are subject to its courts, except where your local consumer law provides otherwise. If any clause is unenforceable the remainder stands. We may update these terms; the date at the top is revised, and we email account holders about material changes.
